Clear terms, clean records

Use AquaReceipt with professional judgment.

These terms govern your use of AquaReceipt. By using the site or app, you agree to use it as a recordkeeping aid and to verify the operational information you enter and share.

1. What AquaReceipt is

AquaReceipt is an operational recordkeeping and customer communication tool for documenting pool-service visits and producing digital service receipts. It is not a monitoring system, emergency service, laboratory instrument, or substitute for your professional procedures.

2. No dosing, safety, or compliance advice

AquaReceipt does not provide chemical dosing instructions, water safety determinations, pool-safety advice, legal advice, regulatory guidance, tax or accounting advice, or compliance certification. Any fields, ranges, examples, or calculations are organizational aids only.

You remain responsible for deciding what work is appropriate and lawful for each property, and for following chemical labels, equipment instructions, safety standards, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.

3. Verify every record before sharing

You must independently verify readings, units, target ranges, customer and property details, services performed, materials used, timestamps, prices, and other receipt information before relying on or sending it. A generated receipt does not prove that a reading is accurate, that work was completed correctly, or that a pool is safe to use.

4. Your records and backups

Customer and visit records are generally kept in your browser or device storage. You are responsible for protecting the device, maintaining any backups required by your business, and exporting records before clearing browser data, replacing a device, or removing the app. AquaReceipt is not your system of record unless you determine that it meets your own retention obligations.

5. Appropriate use

  • Use AquaReceipt only for lawful business purposes.
  • Do not enter sensitive personal, payment-card, medical, identity, or property-access information into receipts.
  • Do not create misleading records, impersonate another business, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Obtain any permissions needed before recording or sharing customer, property, or visit information.

6. No income guarantee

AquaReceipt does not guarantee customers, jobs, revenue, profit, savings, early retirement, or any other business outcome. Your results depend on your services, pricing, market, operations, and decisions.

7. Payments and lifetime license

The founding AquaReceipt lifetime license is offered for a one-time price of $29 USD. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Any applicable taxes or other purchase-specific terms are shown before you complete checkout.

Stripe processes checkout and card information. You are charged only after you affirmatively submit Stripe's payment form. Stripe's terms and privacy practices also apply to that transaction.

A completed purchase grants the buyer a limited, non-transferable license to use the launch version of AquaReceipt for their own lawful business operations. Keep the activation key private. A full refund, payment reversal, or lost payment dispute disables the associated license.

The buyer may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the original purchase using the seller contact shown at Stripe checkout or on the Stripe receipt. Refund rights required by law remain unaffected.

8. Availability and changes

AquaReceipt may be released in preview or beta form. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may update these terms as the product changes; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Intellectual property

AquaReceipt and its original design, software, branding, and content belong to AquaReceipt or its licensors. Subject to these terms, you may use the product for your own lawful business operations. These terms do not transfer ownership of the product or allow resale, copying, or unauthorized distribution of the software.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, AquaReceipt is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular regulatory or operational requirement. You are responsible for your work, records, receipt recipients, and reliance on information produced with the tool.

To the extent permitted by law, AquaReceipt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of or inability to use the product. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

11. Questions

For purchase support or a refund request, use the seller contact shown at Stripe checkout or on your Stripe receipt. To remove a launch-list email, use the launch-list removal page.
